Core Product Advantages
Micro-alloyed steel structures processed via TMCP deliver impact energy values well above standard rules at sub-zero temperatures down to -40°C.
Carbon equivalent values are kept below 0.38% to minimize cold cracking risks and eliminate pre-heating needs during normal shipyard welding.
Complies with Class A / Class B thickness tolerances (e.g., negative tolerance within -0.3 mm per ASTM A6 / EN 10029 standards).
Controlled leveling keeps surface flatness within 3 mm/m, allowing for seamless alignment during hull assembly and structural fabrication.

Chemical Composition & Quality Control
Excellent Weldability: Carbon equivalent (Ceq ≤ 0.38%) prevents cold cracking without pre-heating.
Fine-Grain Steel: Aluminum-killed practice ensures sub-zero impact toughness down to -40°C.
High Purity: Ultra-low sulfur and phosphorus (P, S ≤ 0.025%) ensure high structural integrity.
Exact heat analysis depends on thickness and heat number. Contact us for a sample Mill Test Certificate (EN 10204 3.1).

Optional Processing & Value-Added Services
Custom Flame & Plasma Cutting: Precise CNC cutting according to client-provided CAD drawings.
Edge Beveling: K/V/Y-shape welding groove preparation for immediate shipyard assembly.
Bending & Rolling: Pre-forming for curved ship hull plating and cylindrical offshore tubular structures.
Typical Applications
Shipbuilding: Hull structures, main deck plating, bulkheads, and ice-class vessel superstructures.
Offshore Engineering: Oil & gas platform jackets, jack-up rig legs, and module topsides.
Marine Infrastructure: Port machinery, pontoon barges, and offshore wind turbine foundations.

In-House Testing Capabilities
Chemical Analysis: Direct-reading optical emission spectrometers for precise carbon equivalent (Ceq ≤ 0.38% ) and residual element verification.
Mechanical Testing: Universal tensile machines (up to 1,000 kN) and fully automated Charpy V-notch low-temperature impact testing systems.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Ultrasonic testing equipment operated by Level II/III certified technicians in accordance with SEL 072 / EN 10160.
Metallographic Analysis: High-resolution optical microscopes for grain size determination and microstructural inspection.

Quality Assurance & Full Traceability
100% Heat Traceability: Every plate is hard-stamped with a unique Heat Number, BV Stamping, and Grade ID linked directly to its raw material ladle analysis.
Third-Party Inspection: Full support for live inspector visits or third-party witness testing by BV, SGS, or TÜV prior to loading.

Logistics & Packaging Standard
Seaworthy Export Packaging: Heavy-duty steel strapping, edge corner protectors, and moisture-proof plastic wrapping to prevent mechanical damage.
Custom Surface Protection: Optional SA 2.5 shot-blasting with 15–25 μm weldable shop primer (red/grey).
Flexible Loading Options: Supports both Breakbulk shipping for large plate dimensions and 20ft/40ft Container loading with specialized wooden dunnage and lashing.
