Core Product Advantages
Engineered from fine-grain killed carbon-manganese-silicon steel to deliver reliable notch toughness down to -40°C (or lower with supplementary impact requirements) for LPG and gas storage vessels.
Provides a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa (50 ksi) for plates up to 25 mm, enabling thinner wall designs and reduced overall vessel weight.
Features a maximum 0.25% carbon content and controlled carbon equivalent to minimize heat-affected zone cracking during field welding and forming.
Processed via LF refining and vacuum degassing to lower inclusion levels and maintain consistent internal cleanliness.

Available Supplementary Requirements (ASTM A20 / A20M)
S1 – Vacuum Treatment: Vacuum degassing for ultra-clean steel requirements.
S3 – Simulated Post-Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT): Mechanical testing after PWHT coupon treatment.
S5 – Charpy V-Notch Impact Test: Low-temperature impact testing performed at specified design temperatures (e.g., -20°C, -40°C).
S8 – Ultrasonic Examination: UT testing in accordance with ASTM A435 or ASTM A578 (Level A, B, or C).
S12 – Maximum Tensile Strength Limit: Customized upper limits on tensile properties.

Processing Services
Precision Cutting: CNC flame cutting, plasma cutting, and custom sizing based on client engineering drawings.
Weld Edge Preparation: Precision edge beveling (V, X, Single-U, or Double-U grooves) ready for immediate site welding assembly.
Surface Treatment & Protection: Automated shot blasting to SA 2.5 finish followed by the application of weldable, temporary rust-inhibitive shop primers for long-distance maritime shipping protection.

Heat Treatment & Delivery Conditions
As-Rolled (AR): Standard supply state for general ambient temperature pressure vessels.
Normalized (N): Strongly recommended for thick sections or low-temperature services to refine grain structure and maximize impact energy.
Stress Relieved (SR) / PWHT: Applied to eliminate residual stresses introduced during severe cold forming or heavy welding operations.

Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Available: Ultrasonic inspection in accordance with ASTM A435 or ASTM A578 Level A/B/C is available upon request to guarantee internal soundness.
Full Traceability: Hard-stamping and painted markings display the Heat Number, Plate Number, and ASTM standard on each individual plate.
Mill Certification: Supplied with original EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates detailing heat chemistry and mechanical test results.
Third-Party Inspection: Factory audits and pre-shipment inspections by SGS, BV, TÜV, or Intertek are supported.

Packaging, Logistics & Export Handling
Surface Protection: Anti-rust oil or temporary shop primer applied prior to packing.
Bundling & Securement: High-tensile steel strapping with plastic corner protectors to prevent edge damage.
Waterproof Packaging: Multi-layer plastic film wrapping and heavy-duty waterproof covers for break-bulk or container loading (20ft / 40ft Open Top / Frame Containers).
